Air Fryer Baked Potatoes
LeAnn
Air fryer baked potatoes are the best and easiest way to cook baked potatoes. They make a simple, satisfying, and incredibly versatile side dish or meal.

Course Main Course, Side Dish
Cuisine American
- Medium to large russet potatoes
- Olive oil
- Kosher or Himalayan salt
- Other optional seasonings: black pepper, garlic salt or paprika
Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry.
Poke holes all over each potato with a fork.
Brush the potatoes with olive oil and then cover generously with salt. Rub the salt into the potatoes.
Place potatoes in the air fryer basket or rack.
Cook potatoes at 390-400 degrees for 35-40 minutes for medium potatoes, flipping them halfway through. Potatoes are done when the skin is crispy and a fork slides easily into the center.
Serve plain or with your favorite toppings: Butter, sour cream, broccoli, chili, grated cheese, chopped bacon, etc. I like half broccoli and half turkey chili sprinkled with cheese as pictured in this blog.
Notes:
*Russet potatoes work best for baking. *Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket or rack. *Larger potatoes may need extra cooking time. *Season potatoes immediately after cooking for extra flavor.
