My beef & everything sandwich is made with ground beef, veggies and ooey, gooey mozzarella cheese served on a deli roll. Makes a quick and yummy dinner in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 is best)
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup white mushrooms, sliced or chopped
  • 1 Roma tomato, chopped
  • 1 can diced green chilis
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 Deli style sandwich rolls

Instructions
 

  • Chop onion, green pepper, and tomato. Slice or chop mushrooms.
  • In large frying pan cook the ground beef until slightly browned.
  • Add onion, green pepper, mushrooms, garlic salt, salt (to taste) and freshly ground black pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender and ground beef is browned.
  • Add the can of diced green chilis, tomato and mozzarella cheese and cook until cheese is melted.
  • Serve immediately on a deli style sandwich roll.
