Place eggs, milk and vanilla in a medium size bowl for dipping the french toast in.
Stir cinnamon and sugar together in medium size bowl for dipping cooked french toast rolls in.
Remove the crusts from outside edges of the bread.
Roll the bread slices flat with a rolling pin or you can flatten them out with your hand.
Spread cream cheese on one end of the bread with a knife.
Spread about 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling over the cream cheese. Do not overfill!
Starting at the filling end, roll the bread up like a jelly roll.
Melt the butter in a large frying pan.
Dip each french toast rollup in the egg mixture to coat all sides.
Place rollups seam side down in the hot buttered frying pan.
Brown the rollups over medium high to medium heat, turning until all sides are golden brown.
Remove the rollups from the pan and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat all sides.
Serve immediately. These are delicious as is but you can drizzle with maple syrup if desired.
