These French Toast Sausage Roll-ups are the best part of French toast wrapped around a savory sausage center. It's the perfect bite of sweet and savory.

- 10 slices bread
- 10 fully cooked frozen sausage links
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp butter
Trim the crusts from the slices of bread.
Using a rolling pin or your hand flatten the slices of bread out.
Place one sausage at the top end of each of slice of bread and roll up tightly, pressing the edges of the bread to seal.
Add eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla to a shallow dish and whisk until smooth.
Preheat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp butter.
Dip the roll-ups in the egg mixture to coat all of the sides.
Place the roll-ups in the skillet seam side down and cook until golden brown on all sides by turning the roll-ups.
Serve warm drizzled with syrup or dunk them in the syrup.
Notes: *Store in the refrigerator in a covered container for 3-4 days. *Reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds. *Roll-ups can be frozen in a freezer safe container for up to three months.
