Leftover Turkey Sandwich

This Leftover Turkey Sandwich is the perfect way to use up holiday leftovers without turning on the stove.

Ingredients
  

  • Deli rolls, soft sandwich bread or brioche
  • Mayonnaise
  • Shredded turkey or turkey breast
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Homemade or Stove Top stuffing
  • Cranberry sauce

Instructions
 

  • Prep the bread by laying out a deli roll cut in half or two slices of soft bread.
  • Spread the mayonnaise evenly over both slices of bread.
  • Layer the turkey on top of the mayonnaise evenly on the bottom bun.  Season lightly with salt and pepper if needed.
  • Layer stuffing on top of the turkey and pat down with a fork or spoon.
  • Spread cranberry sauce on top of the stuffing.
  • Close and serve.  Press gently, slice if desired, and enjoy immediately!
  • NOTES: *Use fresh, soft bread to avoid dryness. *Add a spoon of gravy for extra moisture. *Shred turkey instead of slicing for a softer bite. *Let cold turkey sit out for a few minutes before assembling the sandwich.
